Nick Cannon put this together and it’s gone viral on Social Media. It’s spoken word entitled “Intelligence Meets Wisdom”

INTELLIGENCE MEETS WISDOM
Once upon an element, a man named Intelligence questioned his own relevance
While his new old friend Wisdom offered his benevolence
You could tell, It was evident, the 2 were a little hesitant
Because their respect and reverence for each other was obviously heaven sent
That’s when Intelligence asked, well why do we Hate
Wisdoms rebuttal
well why do we Love
Intelligence wondered what will become of his fate
While Wisdom just embraced each day just because
Now Intelligence can prove how much he knows
But Wisdom shows how much he grows
Though, Intelligence spends time searching for God
Wisdom sees that time, is merely a fraud
Odd
They both chose while out on job, to put their pros, cons and pride aside
Why?
Because The power of rivals subsides if the powerful rivals died
Wisdoms Crew was like ooh… Right Right!
While Intelligences entourage just sighed oh My My !
So Is yall Bout it bout it or is u a ride or die
Because Wisdom knew only the true tried to be wise
Intelligence replied, Nigga you ain’t never lied!
But it was something about these guys, they will not ever sever ties
Alone they could marvel but together they mesmerize
Materialized metomorphisis more opposites incorporated & attracted than they actually realized
Diffferences,
For instance,
Intelligence was manmade, And Wisdom is a Spirit
Intelligence is loud, But The Sound of wisdom, must be silent to hear it
Intelligence is witty and quick
While Wisdom is peaceful and still
Intelligence can be Artificial
When Wisdom is real.
Day and Night, Back and forth, they can debate turn for turn but if you understand one without the other Further quandaries will forever burn
But for now this intelligent case is closed And the wise meeting of the minds is adjurned
While the Blind has been leading the blind With frivolous concerns, We find that the true 3rd eye lies intertwined between 2 universes of no return
Interned, these two terms will eternally be on good terms, In terms of the interim
The definitions have definitely and definitively been turned…
Intelligence – the ability to learn
Wisdom – the ability to discern

Now, let me be the first to say that I do not know if Nick Cannon wrote this or simply read it and it was originally written by someone else. If someone else put together this awesome bit of Spoken Word, I applaud whomever that may be. We cannot have one, without the other. Intelligence and Wisdom go hand in Hand!

I meet a lot of intelligent people who lack wisdom. Many of them get offended if you dare suggest they do not know what they think they know. Wise people know what they know as well as what they do not; and they take no offense when someone else notices; in fact most wise people will point out what they don’t know upfront. Intelligent people will try to pretend to know things they do not know; because they ‘think’ it’s intelligent.
The Bible in Proverbs 4:7 states that in all ones ‘getting’ one should seek to get understanding.
Oddly enough, I don’t say that as if the Bible is the only source of truth – OR understanding; as I wrote about in ‘Finding Truth: Intelligence and Wisdom‘ while piggybacking off of points made by Dr. Phil Valentine (two of his videos are featured).
